The Snowman is returning just in time for the holidays. Jeezy has announced his eighth album, Pressure, which is set to arrive Dec. 15.
Referencing the old proverb that “pressure makes diamonds,” a beautiful rock appears on the album’s black-and-white cover. The ice is also an appropriate nod to the Snowman’s constant shine.
To go along with the announcement, Jeezy dropped a short video of his Ferrari under a snow flurry. The clip is soundtracked by new music, which finds Jizzle rapping about his cash. “Hold up,” he raps. “Nothing but the best, counting money while I roll up / Ball hard, go bigger.”
Pressure follows last year’s Trap or Die 3, which featured appearances from Chris Brown, Plies, Yo Gotti, Bankroll Fresh, French Montana, and Lil Wayne.
Last month, Jeezy released two singles, “Bottles Up” featuring Puff Daddy and the Tee Grizzley-assisted “Cold Summer.”
Before releasing the album, Snowman spoke with Rap-Up about his message to the youth. “When I hear trap music today,” he said, “I hear more about getting high and all types of other shit. I get it, but at the same time, I’m the big homie…I need to clarify a couple things. I need to reiterate what it was about in the first place. It’s about getting money, being successful, and keeping it pushing no matter what.”
