Drake is back in the lab.

While Views continues its reign atop the Billboard 200, the 6 God has revealed that he already has a new project in the works. He made the big announcement during his “Summer Sixteen Tour” stop in Kansas City on Saturday (Jul. 23).

“I want you to protect yourselves and each other,” said Drizzy. “When I go and work on this new mixtape and I come back to Kansas City and I drop that shit, I wanna see everybody in this motherfu**er, boy!”

This isn’t the first fans have heard of a new Drake-related effort. In recent weeks, while his feud with Joe Budden has intensified, rumors have circulated regarding a potential joint project between Drizzy and Gucci Mane.

While fans await Drake’s mixtape, Views tops the Billboard 200 for the 11th non-consecutive week (89,000 equivalent album units), giving it the most weeks at No. 1 for an album since Taylor Swift’s 1989 in February 2015.
