Yung Miami and DJ Akademiks are far from close friends, but the Florida rapper is at least open to hearing him out. On Monday (Aug. 26), she invited the music commentator to join her on an episode of “Caresha Please” and he accepted.

“Let’s do [an interview for] ‘Caresha Please’ season two, [Akademiks]. I would love [to do] a sit-down from my POV. [Everyone's] POV is very important,” Miami wrote on Twitter. He simply responded, “I’m down.”

Social media evidently had mixed reactions to the pair possibly chatting, with some users highlighting Akademiks’ recent rape allegations and others joking that Saucy Santana would make a surprise cameo. Either way, everyone will have to wait and see if the episode comes to fruition.

Yung Miami’s "Caresha Please" season two debut episode saw her touching on some very heavy subjects, like her friendship with JT and staying silent amid Diddy’s allegations. “I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience, and I can’t speak on something that I don’t know,” she said of the latter topic to Santana, who served as the conversation’s guest host. “I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time.”

The City Girls rapper also spoke about Quality Control Music shelving her solo music. “When I try to turn my music in, it's just like, 'We don't see [any] growth in your music' or 'You [are] not elevating,'” she explained.

In February, Miami launched “50/50,” in which she called Akademiks “Mr. Pocket P**sy.” Elsewhere in the song, she spat, “N**ga d**k small, probably why his balls so pissy / Meat puller on your knees, how you standin’ on the business? / Akademiks, you a b**ch, why you speakin’ on women?”

Meanwhile, in April, the award-winning artist teamed up with Skilla Baby for “CFWM (Can't F*** With Me).” The two performed the record live for 4 Shooters Only’s “From The Block” performance series weeks later.
