On Wednesday (Sept. 25), Cardi B stepped out for day three of Paris Fashion Week. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper attended Paco Rabanne's Spring/Summer 2025 show wearing a piece from their SS24 collection.

Designed by Julien Dossena, Cardi’s dress featured a gold chainmail bodice that flowed into a fringe skirt. The New York native also sat front row with celebrity stylist Kollin Carter, who’s been behind her iconic looks at the Met Gala and several other major events.

It’s worth mentioning that Cardi previously honored the late Rabanne at the 2023 Grammy Awards. She took the stage in a silver metal triangle set paired with a mesh hood from the brand’s FW20 range. That night, the mother of three also presented Kendrick Lamar with the award for Best Rap Album.

In a sit-down with The Hollywood Reporter, Cardi and Carter opened up about the artist’s challenges in breaking into high fashion. “There are so many obstacles against us. For example, this body is not meant for a size two. I’m very hips, a**, and that’s me,” the Grammy Award-winning musician detailed. “It was not easy, but we make it look easy. Our door was closed many times… but we’re here because we do it well. I’m not going to be humble about it.”

“We’ve given look after look, year after year. We’ve reached into archives that are impossible to reach into. We caused a cultural shift,” Carter added. “I don’t think there were many women like Cardi who existed in the fashion space. Now, there are a ton of other rap females who aspire to be in that space because they see what’s possible. We set trends.”

The Invasion of Privacy creator gave birth to a baby girl on Sept. 7, and her post-pregnancy physique bounced back relatively quickly. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, considering she shared footage of herself in the gym a week into postpartum: “It’s personal.”
