Nicki Minaj is known for her many alter egos, and she’s about to introduce another one.

As she gears up for her fifth studio album, the rap queen revealed that a new personality is waiting in the wings.

However, she hasn’t decided on a name just yet. “I’ma figure it out,” she told fans on Instagram Live. “I’ma listen and I’ma figure something out so that this new personality can have their own whole vibe.”

Nicki has previously introduced alter egos such as Harajuku Barbie, Chun-Li, Roman Zolanski, and Queen Sleeze, who she described as “calm but way deadlier.”

She also opened up about the follow-up to 2018’s Queen, which will mark a return to her roots. While doing an interview with the “Dana Cortez Show,” she was asked if fans can expect to hear “Mixtape Nicki” on the project.

“You gotta get Mixtape Nicki. I feel like that’s what’s needed right now,” she said.

While her life has changed a lot since she released her debut mixtape Playtime Is Over nearly 15 years ago, Papa Bear’s mother hasn’t forgot where she came from.

“I’m still talking that talk ’cause that’s my real life that I’ve experienced,” she added. “I have to talk about the hood ’cause that’s where we’re from. I ain’t gonna start rapping about Beverly Hills now ’cause it’s not authentic to me.”

She admitted that she’s in a great space and called it a “full circle” moment. “I’m creating music kinda like how I used to create music when I first started rapping on my mixtapes, which is having a great experience, enjoying it, staying present in the moment, and seeing what happens.”
