Fresh off dropping their new collaboration, Wale and J. Cole are co-starring in the video for “Poke It Out.”
Directed by Chris Robinson, the vibrant clip finds Wale celebrating beautiful Black women at Camp Folarin. He rides in a red Jeep to the all-girls camp, where the sexy campers pitch tents, go fishing, and roast marshmallows by the campfire. Later, Cole World joins Folarin in a pink-lit room as he shouts out the Megan Thee Stallions and Coi Lerays.
“Poke It Out,” which samples Q-Tip’s 1999 hit “Vivrant Thing,” marks the first collaboration between the two since “My Boy (Freestyle)” in 2018.
It is set to appear on Wale’s seventh studio album, Folarin 2, due Oct. 22. The album has also spawned the Chris Brown-assisted hit “Angles.”
