Lil Uzi Vert almost lost his pink diamond.

The Philly rapper says he was stage diving when fans snatched the $24 million rock right off his forehead during his performance at Rolling Loud Miami in July. Thankfully, he didn’t suffer any serious facial injuries.

“I jumped in the crowd and they kinda ripped it out,” Uzi told TMZ.

Uzi, who has a barbell piercing in place of the pink gem, is grateful to still have his precious stone. “I still have the diamond, so I feel good,” he added.

Back in February, Uzi embedded the flashy rock in the middle of his forehead. He saved up for years for the pink gemstone, which cost a reported $24 million, and wanted it placed on his forehead because he was afraid he would lose it.

This is not the first time the diamond has been dislodged from Uzi’s forehead. He previously sustained a gruesome injury after removing it and revealed the serious threat it posed to his livelihood.

“If I don’t get it took out the right way I could die,” said Uzi, who shared a photo of blood oozing from his forehead.

He removed it over the summer, but had it re-implanted for Rolling Loud.

The rare diamond, which is between 10 and 11 carats, was so expensive that it took four years to pay off. According to Uzi, it cost more than his home and all his cars combined.
