Keyshia Cole is breaking her silence following her mother’s death.

On Sunday, the singer’s biological mother Frankie Lons died from a reported drug overdose at her Oakland home. She was 61.

In the wake of her mother’s passing, an emotional Cole took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share a heartfelt tribute.

“This is so hard man. Can’t really even find the words. SMH,” she began. “I honestly don’t even know how to feel. You can never prepare for something like this… Ever!!! but you will be missed.”

Alongside a slideshow of photos, Keyshia fondly recalled her mother’s “unmatched” humor (“Naturally so funny, that’s what I loved about your personality”) while remembering her as a loving soul who was full of life.

“I created this post to show my love and appreciation for your life,” she added before thanking well wishers. “I would like to thank my fans + supporters, shooot your supporters and fans, for being here with us during these hard times, and the love that you all have for us…..the love for all your children was definitely felt.”

Despite their differences, Keyshia said she is willing to come together with Frankie’s other children to honor their mother.

“When u said all you want is to have ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN IN ONE PLACE, AT ONE TIME meant the most to you, And I’m completely down to do that for you. Even through our differences …. WE LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! Frank da bank!”

On her Instagram Story, Keyshia reflected on happier days with Frankie, while sharing all the flowers she received from friends and well wishers. “Thanks for the flowers guys,” she wrote. “I love you all!!”
