6ix9ine’s biological father is asking his son for help.
Daniel Hernandez, who has the same legal name as the “ZAZA” rapper, says he’s been living in a homeless shelter for two years and claims that his son hasn’t offered him any financial support.
“You think he’d come hook me up with something,” Hernandez, 60, tells Page Six. “He’s been giving money to other people. … He gives money to everybody. ‘Here, here, here.'”
The two have been estranged for more than a decade. In December 2019, Hernandez showed up at Tekashi’s trial and asked the judge to speak about his son during his sentencing but was denied.
“I took one glance—I see my biological father. I haven’t seen him since the third grade,” Tekashi told the court. “I don’t even know if this is a fu**in’ joke, everything I go through.”
Despite their estranged relationship, Hernandez feared for his son’s safety. “I’m glad that he’s safe in [prison],” he said following his sentencing. “Outside, you know that they’re gonna try to kill. … It’s a scary situation. He’s a target. He cannot hide.”
In a tearful interview last year, Hernandez pleaded for a reunion with his famous son. “I want you to know that I love you and I miss you,” he said. “Please give me a second chance. I’ll do anything.”
Tekashi did not meet his dad until he was 9. His mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, kicked the father out of their house after she allegedly caught him using heroin in the bathroom.
