Some of the biggest R&B girl group members of the ’90s and 2000s are coming together to form a new supergroup.

Eight former members of platinum-selling groups including 702, Total, Danity Kane, 3LW, Blaque, and Cherish will take part in BET’s new reality show “BET Presents The Encore,” premiering next month.

The cast includes Pamela Long of Total, sisters Irish and LeMisha Grinstead from 702, Shamari DeVoe of Blaque, Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, Kiely Williams of 3LW, and twins Felisha and Fallon King of Cherish, as well as Grammy-nominated singer Nivea, who had a hit in the early 2000s with “Don’t Mess with My Man.”

According to The Associated Press, the singers will live together for 30 days to record an album at a home studio, learn choreography, and practice vocals.

Interest in the show grew last year after a clip of the pilot leaked featuring 3LW’s Williams and former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin. After the video went viral, BET greenlit a full season of the 10-episode series.

“I’m super proud of this show,” said executive producer Carlos King, who has produced shows including “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” “It’s a love letter to girl groups. It’s a love letter to this genre that I feel like has always been super underrepresented, and I truly hope with the success of this show … it reignites the record labels to invest more in girl groups. I definitely think there’s an appetite for that.”

“BET Presents The Encore” premieres June 9.
