It’s the return of G-Eazy.
On Monday (Feb. 1), the Bay Area rapper took to Twitter to announce that his new single featuring Chris Brown drops this week.
“New music with my brother this week. It’s finally that time TTHT SZN,” he tweeted alongside a photo of the pair.
Breezy reposted the tweet and responded with a series of flame emojis.
The Hitmaka-produced song is reportedly titled “Provide” and samples Mark Morrison’s ’90s classic “Return of the Mack.” The British singer previously tweeted about being in the studio with G-Eazy and Chris.
The lyrics have already appeared on Genius. “It’s the return of the mack / R.I.P. to Furl, I promise you ain’t nothin’ like these L.A. girls,” G-Eazy raps. “And we can sip slurricane listenin’ to Earl / Who knew we’d bring the Bay to the world?”
Gerald and Breezy, who previously teamed up on songs including “Wobble Up” and “Drifting,” have already shot a video for their collaboration. Footage from the set appeared online earlier this month and shows the two filming scenes on a rooftop.
“Provide” is reportedly the first single off G-Eazy’s upcoming album, These Things Happen Too, a sequel to his 2014 debut album These Things Happen.
Chris has also filmed a video with Tory Lanez for their new song “Feels” and teased a remix to his Young Thug-assisted hit “Go Crazy.”
