The countdown is on to Ariana Grande’s new album.
After dropping the title track and video on Friday, the singer has shared the tracklist for her sixth studio album positions, which she calls her favorite project yet. The 14 tracks include appearances from The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, and Doja Cat, who is featured on “Motive.”
Ariana previously confirmed a collaboration with the “Say So” rapper. “I’m obsessed with her. I love her. I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again, to drop,” she told Apple Music in May. “I love her personality. I love what she brings to the table musically. She’s just such a breath of fresh air.”
positions, which follows 2019’s thank u, next, has already spawned the title track, produced by London On Da Track and Tommy Brown. Along with the song, she released a video in which she plays the President of the United States.
Taking to Twitter, Ariana shared her excitement. “i don’t have a top three or anything ! everything goes hand in hand,” she tweeted. “this project is my favorite for many reasons and i really can’t wait for it to be yours. thank u for your love and excitement, it means the world to me.”
