City Girls are calling on the Queen.
JT and Yung Miami have revealed that they want to collaborate with Nicki Minaj. During an interview with The Shade Room, the Miami duo shared their desire to hit the studio with Minaj.
“We want to work with Nicki Minaj because we feel like that’s the only female artist we haven’t worked with yet,” said Yung Miami. “We feel like it’s only right to work with Nicki Minaj.”
Yung Miami put the wheels in motion to make it happen by putting out the call directly to Nicki. “Wassup, Nicki?” said Miami, who is also eyeing a collaboration with Summer Walker.
City Girls, whose album City On Lock dropped in June, have worked with several female rappers in the past including Cardi B and Saweetie. Last month, they teamed up with Doja Cat in the video for “Pussy Talk.”
Nicki, who is expecting her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, recently collaborated with A$AP Ferg and has a song with YoungBoy Never Broke Again on the way.
