Kim Kardashian had a tearful reunion with Kanye West in Wyoming.
The couple came together for the first time since Kanye’s Twitter outburst and bizarre political rally in South Carolina earlier this month.
According to TMZ, Kim flew to Cody, Wyoming on Monday after trying to get medical treatment for Kanye for his serious bipolar episode. Prior to this, he had been unreceptive and was unwilling to listen to her or even take her calls.
On Saturday, Kanye publicly apologized to Kim for the hurtful comments he made, especially those about abortion during his political rally, which were a source of upset for Kim. “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,” he tweeted. “I did not cover her like she has covered me.”
He added, “To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
On Monday, the couple was photographed on their phones while waiting in their car at a Wendy’s drive-thru in Wyoming. After their pit stop, they returned to their ranch. Kim appeared visibly upset and crying while speaking to her husband during what looks like a contentious conversation.
The reunion follows a series of tweets from Kanye, where he claimed that Kim tried to have him committed to a mental hospital. He also said that he wanted to divorce his wife, suggesting that she had an inappropriate relationship with Meek Mill in 2018.
During his political rally in North Charleston, South Carolina, he spoke out against abortion, saying he and Kim considered terminating their first pregnancy with North West. “I almost killed my daughter,” said West, whose father considered aborting him. “My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life.”
Kim later released a statement addressing her husband’s struggle with bipolar disorder. “Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand,” she wrote. “Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions.”
