50 Cent is showing a rare moment of remorse.

The “Power” mogul has apologized to Megan Thee Stallion for making light of her suffering following the recent shooting involving Tory Lanez. Taking to Instagram, 50 issued an apology to the “Savage” rapper, saying he did not intend to cause harm.

“Damn I didn’t think this shit was real,” wrote 50. “It sounded so crazy @theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry.”

50 had posted an insensitive meme that showed Megan running from a vehicle while being shot at by Tory. His Instagram post has since been deleted.

Without naming names, Megan slammed her detractors for mocking the traumatic incident during her Instagram Live on Monday. “I ain’t never seen so many grown ass men chime in on shit that wasn’t their business in the first motherfu**ing place,” she said. “Shut the f**k up when shit don’t have nothing to do with you.”

Others including Cam’ron and Draya Michele also weighed in on the shooting. “I see a lot of people painting fake ass narratives and making up stories and all this other wack ass shit,” added Megan. “So f**k y’all and the fake ass blogs and y’all fake ass sources and my fake ass friends.”

In her emotional livestream, the Houston rapper recounted the harrowing experience and revealed that she suffered multiple gunshot wounds. “I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out–and it was super scary,” she said. “It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny.”

Tory Lanez was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and is reportedly being looked at as the possible trigger man. A petition has surfaced on Change.org calling for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to deport the Canadian rapper. It has nearly 15,000 signatures.

“This little 5’3 man with a big ego has contributed nothing to the American Economy, and promotes violence and violence against women,” reads a message from the petition’s organizer. “Furthermore, he should be banned from the United States FOREVER for intentionally trying to harm Megan the Stallion. SEND HIM BACK TO CANADA ASAP!”
