50 Cent’s family continues to be divided.

Back in April, the G-Unit mogul surprised fans when he said he would rather have 6ix9ine than his own son Marquise as his family. “He better than Marquise though. I’ll take him before I take my actual [son],” 50 said, adding, “F**k that ni**a.”

During an Instagram Live interview with BMG UpperClass last week, Marquise responded to his estranged father’s comments that he would take a snitch over his own blood. “He claimed 6ix9ine as his son, bro,” said Marquise while pointing out both 50 and Tekashi’s trolling tactics. “So maybe that’s his real son. They got the same characteristics, they know how to do the same shit so maybe.”

50 has tried to distance himself from Marquise in the past, even suggesting that he’s not his biological son. “He got the DNA test. I’m not his son, bro. I’m not even related to him. He said that already,” said Marquise.

When asked how it felt to hear his father say those things, Marquise laughed it off. “At first I wanted to be sad,” he said, adding, “Nah, I ain’t wanna be sad. That shit was funny as f**k.”

50 and Marquise’s estranged relationship has been well documented, including heated exchanges on social media. In 2017, Marquise dropped his debut single “Different” on which he opened up about his famous father. “Lost my pops, he’s still alive,” he rapped.

During the IG interview, Marquise also said that Pop Smoke was a better rapper than his dad, who executive produced the late rapper’s album Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon. “I told ni**as I was replacing ni**as in my top 5 with Pop Smoke,” he said.
