Future and Lil Uzi Vert are up to something.
The rappers have fans buzzing over their upcoming collaboration. On Monday night, both Future and Uzi cleared out their Instagram accounts and shared a trailer for a Hype Williams-directed video. The mysterious clip captures a conversation between Pluto and Baby Pluto outside a laundromat.
“This COVID-19 shit is fu**ing it up for us,” says Future. “I ain’t gon’ let it get in the way of our money though.”
Hndrxx then hatches a plan to go to Turks and Caicos and get a “bigass yacht,” while Uzi suggests they wash the money. “We gon’ flip it, get it, and flip it again,” adds Future.
It’s unclear exactly what they’re dropping, but the teaser ends with a release date: July 31.
It may just be a single, while some fans think it could be a larger project. “WE GETTING A COLLAB TAPE???” asked one fan in the comments. Earlier this month, footage from a video shoot surfaced online.
Future recently dropped a video for “Posted with Demons” off his recent album High Off Life, which features the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted “All Bad.” Uzi dropped his long-awaited album Eternal Atake and the deluxe, LUV vs. The World 2, in March.
