Big Sean is breaking his silence over the tragic death of Naya Rivera.

Four days after the “Glee” star was confirmed death, the Detroit rapper shared a heartfelt tribute to his ex-fiancée, who accidentally drowned while swimming at Lake Piru in Ventura, Calif. In his heartfelt note, Sean reflected on their relationship while celebrating Naya’s talent and heroism.

“Rest In Peace Naya, God Bless your Soul! Thank you for blessing us all with your talent and presence. you are a hero!” he wrote. “Not just because of how you saved your son, also because of the barriers you knocked down for so many people to make them feel confident in themselves and to stand tall and be proud when they couldn’t achieve that on their own. I appreciate and cherish everything that ever happened between us for making me wiser and a better person.”

Added Sean, “I’m still grieving and in shock, I can’t believe this is real. I’m praying for you and your family and I know your watching over them and protecting them. Rest In Peace Naya.”

Sean had previously showed support for Naya by liking tweets from others who had been praying for her safe return.

The former couple began dating in April 2013 after meeting through social media and later collaborated on Naya’s debut single “Sorry.” They got engaged in October 2013 before calling off the engagement six months later in April 2014.

“He is such a casanova,” Naya told Rap-Up in a 2013 interview. “I’m always asking him what should be my next move or should I do this or should I do that. He gives me great advice. He’s been through it.”

The “Glee” actress was first declared missing on July 8 after she rented a boat and went swimming with her 4-year-old son Josey in Lake Piru. Her body was recovered from the lake five days later following an extensive search. She was 33.
