Bryson Tiller is a high school graduate.

The Trapsoul singer received his diploma from Iroquois High School in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the 27-year-old shared his name among the Class of 2020 candidates for graduation.

“Class of 2020 🎓 I never thought about going back to school until i started thinking about my goals and how to reach them,” he tweeted. “Getting my High School diploma was step 1.”

Due to the pandemic, he was unable to have a proper graduation so he celebrated at home. Wearing a cap and gown, he held a socially-distant ceremony on his balcony. A voice off camera announced Tiller as the “valedictorian of the Class of 2020” before he emerged and waved. “I graduated high school!” he shouted before tossing his cap in the air.

Bryson, who’s readying his long-awaited album Serenity, now has plans to continue his education. “College is 100% next,” he wrote.

He received congratulations from his friend Quavo, who recently got his high school diploma. “Congrats @brysontiller For Graduating highschool ‘We can do It’!!” tweeted the Migos rapper.
