Future is riding high on the charts.
The rapper earns his seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as High Off Life debuts at No. 1. The album, which features Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Lil Uzi Vert, earned 153,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., of which 16,000 are in album sales.
It becomes Future’s biggest week for a solo album, besting DS2, which opened at No. 1 with 151,000 units in August 2015. His only bigger week was What a Time to Be Alive, 2015’s joint album with Drake, which opened at No. 1 with 376,000.
Prior to High Off Life, Future topped the chart with 2019’s Future HNDRXX Presents: The WIZRD, 2017’s HNDRXX and Future, 2016’s Evol, and 2015’s What a Time to Be Alive and DS2.
Polo G also makes his debut with The Goat at No. 2 with 99,000 equivalent album units (14,000 in album sales). It becomes his highest-charting album and best week, surpassing his 2016 debut Die a Legend, which peaked at No. 6 in June 2019 with 38,000 units.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Lil Baby’s My Turn rises 4-3 with 65,000 equivalent album units, Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes falls 3-4 with 58,000 units, and DaBaby’s Blame It On Baby moves up one spot to No. 5 with 44,000 units.
Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake jumps 8-6 (39,000), The Weeknd’s After Hours lifts 9-7 (38,000), and Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding rises 10-9 with 37,000 units.
After debuting at No. 1 last week, NAV’s Good Intentions falls to No. 10 in its second week, with just under 35,000 equivalent album units.
