Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning.

The NBA legend was traveling with three other people in his private helicopter when it went down in Calabasas, Calif. around 10 a.m. The crash ignited a brush fire and emergency personnel responded, but none of those on board survived.

Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, was also killed in the crash. The father and daughter were reportedly on their way to basketball practice at the Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks when the helicopter crashed. A teammate of Gianna, the teammate’s parent, and the pilot were also killed, according to NBC News.

Bryant was 41. He is survived by his wife Vanessa and their three other daughters, Natalia, Bianca, and Capri, who was born in June 2019.

In the wake of the tragic news, Kobe’s fans and friends, many in the music industry, took to social media to remember the five-time NBA champion.
