The Throne reunites.

After years apart, Kanye West and JAY-Z put aside their differences and came together for the first time publicly at Diddy’s 50th birthday party on Saturday. The rap icons looked dapper in their formalwear as they arrived at the lavish celebration, which was held at Diddy’s $40 million Holmby Hills mansion.

The hip-hop moguls greeted each other with a handshake and shared a laugh as Kylie Jenner and her sister Khloé Kardashian looked on in a video clip that surfaced on social media. They also posed for a photo alongside Diddy and Pharrell.

The reunion follows years of friction between the Watch the Throne collaborators. Kanye admitted that he felt “hurt” when JAY and Beyoncé didn’t show up to his and Kim Kardashian’s wedding in 2014.

“I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding,” he told Charlamagne Tha God in 2018. “I understand they were going through some things, but if it’s family, you’re not going to miss a wedding.”

Kanye called out the superstar couple on stage during his “Saint Pablo Tour” stop in Sacramento, Calif. in November 2016. “JAY-Z, call me,” he said. “You still ain’t called me. JAY-Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”

Despite his comments, JAY-Z said he will always have love for Ye. “That’s my brother,” he told David Letterman in a 2018 interview. “We’re beyond friends. Really, like literally, my little brother is Kanye, and like your little brother, things happen sometimes.”

Diddy’s 50th birthday was a star-studded celebration. In addition to JAY-Z and Kanye, their wives, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian, were in attendance. The guest list also included Dr. Dre, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, Offset, Post Malone, Jhené Aiko, Big Sean, and Meek Mill, while Mary J. Blige, Usher, and Lil’ Kim entertained the crowd.
