The saga continues.
After Eminem reignited their feud on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above,” Nick Cannon is firing back with a diss track of his own.
On Monday, the Power 106 host dropped “The Invitation” featuring Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips, Prince Eazy, and Suge Knight. The incarcerated Death Row mogul opens the track by calling Eminem a “bitch” in a recorded phone call from prison.
Nick then addresses Fat Joe, whose album Family Ties features the Cannon diss. “Told Joe to lean back, don’t get hit with this retaliation,” raps Nick. “I fuck with Crack, but the white boy, he fuck with crack / Pills and smack / Shady about to relapse.”
He also brings up Em’s family including his ex-wife and daughter. “Call Kim, somebody get Hailie and that other kid you raising that ain’t even your baby / Took a page out of Drake’s book, this might even get a Grammy / We goin’ back to back till you respond on the family.”
In 2009, Nick’s ex-wife Mariah Carey responded to Marshall Mathers with her own diss-turned-hit “Obsessed.” “My baby mama killed you off a decade ago / And you still crying about it, bitch / Now who really the ho?” he continues. “I called Joe to set you up and you fell for the job / Slim won’t show for the video ’cause he terrified of my squad.”
He also alleges that Em’s driver has video of him engaging in oral sex. “I heard your chauffeur got a video of you sucking a cock / You paid him off, then laid him off, now who really the op?”
Nick, who calls himself the “new Pac,” ends his verse by calling Eminem “Elvis Pussley” before handing it off to his Ncredible Gang.
