Juice WRLD has died after reportedly suffering a seizure in Chicago.
The rapper, who turned 21 on Dec. 2, landed on a flight from California early Sunday morning. After deplaning at Chicago’s Midway Airport, witnesses say he suffered the seizure while walking through the airport. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that he was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived.
Juice was still conscious when he was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he was pronounced dead a short time later. No cause of death has been determined, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Juice WRLD, whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, catapulted to fame with his 6x platinum hit “Lucid Dreams” off his 2018 debut Goodbye & Good Riddance.

Juice had been open about his struggles with drug addiction. In July, he tweeted that he was done with codeine.
“Bae I’m sorry I be tweaking, you’ve put up with more than ppl know I know I be scaring you, fuck Codeine I’m done,” he told his girlfriend Ally Lotti. “I love you and im letting it be known publicly that ain’t shit fucking up the real love I found. Learn from this everyone. Addiction kills all but you can overcome.”
