Mark your calendars. The Weeknd is set to return on Black Friday.

The singer will reportedly release his new single “Blinding Lights” on Nov. 29. The song first appeared in a Mercedes-Benz commercial, which aired Sunday on German television. The Grammy-winning crooner can seen behind the wheel of the new EQC electric SUV before telling it to play “Blinding Lights.” At the end, it says that the full clip will be available on Friday.

According to HipHop-N-More, the track was written and produced by The Weeknd, Belly, and Abel’s longtime producer DaHeala. The site also mentions that a second song could possibly be released on Friday as well.

Last week, The Weeknd hinted at his possible return when he tweeted, “when is fall actually over? just curious…”

All signs point to new music from the “King of the Fall.” Earlier this week, he reactivated his Instagram account after deactivating it in June. He has wiped it clean of all posts, while his bio reads, “loading…”

The Weeknd hasn’t released a solo project since his EP My Dear Melancholy, in March 2018. The 6-song set spawned tracks including “Call Out My Name” and “Privilege,” for which a Kid Cudi remix debuted earlier this month.
