Over two decades after the “Macarena” phenomenon, Tyga is readying a remix to the ’90s one-hit wonder.

The rapper took to social media to preview a new song that samples Los del Río’s worldwide hit, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks in 1996 and spawned a dance craze that would become a staple at weddings, parties, and sporting events.

The video clip features throwback C-SPAN footage of Hillary Clinton and other politicians dancing to the song during Bill Clinton’s 1996 presidential election campaign.

“Hey Macarena, Macarena, Macarena / Put the chopper on and ni**a turn it to a sprinter,” Tyga raps in the preview clip.

Tyga also played his new bop at a recent club gig. “Bitches I’m on my stick, but my name ain’t Harry Potter,” he raps, adding, “Undefeated with the bitches, I’m invincible.”

Just last month, Tyga dropped “Mamacita” featuring YG and Santana, his first release since signing a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records.

It’s unclear when Tyga’s “Macarena” remix will arrive, but you can listen to a teaser below.
