Cardi B is revving up for a new role.

The rapper has joined the cast of the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 movie, which is set to hit theaters next year. The movie’s star Vin Diesel revealed the newest cast member by posting an Instagram clip from the final day of shooting in the U.K.

“Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9. I know I’m exhausted. We all gave every single thing we could for this movie,” said Diesel.

He was joined on set by Cardi, wearing a black utility vest and black gloves. “I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, this is gonna be the best one,” she said before adding, “I need to take a nappy-nap.”

Cardi previously made her acting debut alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, and Keke Palmer in Hustlers, which has grossed over $100 million at the box office.

During her recent appearance on “Ellen,” she teased her Fast & Furious role. “I’m going to film for a movie this month,” said Cardi, who complained about the long hours on set of Hustlers, but the money made up for it. “I enjoyed the check,” she added.

Fast & Furious 9, the sequel to 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and more. It is scheduled to hit theaters on May 22, 2020.
