Cardi B is feeling like Tiger Woods.
The Grammy-winning rapper is back in the studio working on her sophomore album. Taking to Instagram Live on Wednesday, she revealed more details about the follow-up to Invasion of Privacy, including the title—Tiger Woods.
“Everything that I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” she told her fans. “And I think I’m gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I think I’ma name my album Tiger Woods ‘cause remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods and then he fucking came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’ma name my album.”
Cardi is referring to the embattled golf star who suffered a fall from grace after reports of extramarital affairs. Over a decade later, the prolific golfer managed a professional comeback. In April, he won his first major championship victory in 11 years with his win at the Masters.
Meanwhile, Cardi’s career continues to thrive. She stars as a judge alongside T.I. and Chance the Rapper on Netflix’s new series “Rhythm + Flow,” which premieres Oct. 9. The Hustlers star is also plotting her next film role. “I’m going to film for a movie this month,” she revealed during her appearance on “Ellen.”
