Drake goes diamond.

“God’s Plan” has been certified 11x platinum by the RIAA, earning Drake his first diamond or higher certification. The hit song, which appeared on Drake’s album Scorpion, was first released in January 2018 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“God’s Plan” is one of eight new RIAA certifications for Drizzy including “Hotline Bling” (8x platinum), “One Dance” (8x platinum), “Started From the Bottom” (6x platinum), “The Motto” (6x platinum), “Take Care” (5x platinum), “In My Feelings” (5x platinum), and “Nice for What” (5x platinum).

The hits keep piling up. In June, Drake passed The Beatles for the second-most top 10s in the history of the Hot 100, thanks to the Rick Ross-assisted “Money in the Grave.” He now has 35 top 10 hits, trailing only Madonna, who leads with 38.

Drizzy is now crafting his next big hit. The Toronto rapper has been in the studio working on a new album, which could arrive before the end of the year.

In between studio sessions, he continues to sell out shows. On Friday, he will headline the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil.
