6ix9ine will head to trial next week in his federal racketeering case, but his family won’t be in the courtroom.

The rapper’s immediate family members have decided that it’s too risky for them to show their faces because Tekashi will be snitching on the Nine Trey Gangsters Bloods as part of his plea deal and they’re scared of the potential repercussions.

According to TMZ, his family fears that they will be harassed or followed back to their homes, or worst case scenario, attacked by Tekashi’s former crew members.

6ix9ine has already beefed up security to protect his family. The ramifications for testifying could be serious. Sources tell TMZ that Tekashi is “crapping his pants over testifying” and fears for his own life as well as the safety of his mother and brother.

According to court documents, 6ix9ine will reportedly name names when he takes the stand, connecting people to certain incriminating messages and implicating himself and other Nine Trey Bloods in a plot to take down rival rapper Casanova. He will also supposedly reveal how he was bankrolling his fellow gang members.

Just last week, Tekashi’s former manager and high-ranking member of the Nine Trey Bloods, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection with a number of crimes committed alongside 6ix9ine and other members of the Nine Trey Bloods.
