50 Cent had plenty to talk about during his visit to “The Breakfast Club.”
While promoting the sixth and final season of “Power,” the show’s executive producer sat down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee on Tuesday to discuss everything from Wendy Williams to his love life. He also weighed in on JAY-Z’s controversial NFL partnership and why he won’t be answering 6ix9ine’s calls after he snitched.
Plus, Fif addressed his ongoing legal battle with Teairra Mari and why he thinks Chris Brown is better than Michael Jackson.
Watch the interview and read highlights below.
On JAY-Z’s NFL deal: “I think the timing was a little wild, but that’s a Roc Nation deal. JAY’s gonna take the heat for it…It’s a decent play after they passed on the halftime show. I think Beyoncé will be at the halftime this year.”
On 6ix9ine: “He’s his mother’s child now. After you do shit like that, you’re your mama’s child. Don’t call me.”
On Chris Brown vs. Michael Jackson: “There’s artists that rap better than Tupac right now because they got better. Over time, we got better. On stage what [Chris] is doing is another level to what the showmanship was then.”
On smoking with Snoop Dogg: “I didn’t inhale. I just went like this. Snoop was so happy. He was like, ‘Yes, now you got a fuckin’ drug problem.'”
On his new girlfriend Jamira Haines: “This is new for me, people.”
On collecting his $30,000 payment from Teairra Mari: “She got a payment plan. It’s OK. I don’t care if you feel like you went to college. You didn’t attend any classes, but you got bills to pay. It’s fine with me. But when you make a mistake, you have to identify with the mistake.”
