It’s over for The Weeknd and Bella Hadid.

The Grammy-winning singer, 29, and supermodel, 22, have once again called it quits, according to E! News. The breakup comes one year after they reconciled.

“Bella and Abel have split,” says the source, who says “distance” drove them apart. “They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.”

The insider cited their schedules, which resulted in them being in cities at “opposite times.” Their time apart from one another led to friction. “They have been arguing a lot recently,” adds the source. “[They] haven’t spent quality time together in months.”

But the door is open for reconciliation. “They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects,” the source says.

The couple began their on-again, off-again relationship after meeting at Coachella in April 2015. They split in December of that year and later reconnected in what would be a pattern throughout the years.
