Pusha-T and Lil Wayne may be burying the hatchet once and for all.

Rick Ross is bringing the G.O.O.D. Music president and Young Money chief together for the sixth installment in his “Maybach Music” series. While the rappers may have had issues in the past, dating all the way back to 2006 (not to mention Drake and Pusha’s beef), Ross wanted to help them settle their differences. He had them record for his Port of Miami 2 song without either knowing they were going to be on the same track.

“I put together a record without either one of them knowing ’cause I felt like we will put this behind us one day,” Ross told Baller Alert.

While he’s hopeful, he admitted that he’s unsure how “Maybach Music 6” will be received. “The real question is, is it the time now? It may not be the right time for that. We’ll have to see Aug. 9, Port of Miami 2.”

Lil Wayne previously appeared on “Maybach Music II” off 2009’s Deeper Than Rap, which also featured Kanye West and T-Pain. Past versions have featured JAY-Z, Jadakiss, Erykah Badu, T.I., Ne-Yo, and DeJ Loaf.

During the interview, Ross reacted to the news of Meek Mill’s conviction being thrown out. “It’s been a long fight for him, but everything happened at the right time,” he said. “He put his case behind him. I hope that judge learned something from it.”

He also celebrated Meek’s joint venture with Dream Chasers Records and JAY-Z’s Roc Nation. “Shout out to JAY-Z for seeing the vision in my little bro. I’m happy just for the world being able to see what Maybach Music is capable of producing. That’s big.”

Port of Miami 2, the sequel to Ross’ 2006 album, drops Aug. 9, and Ross also plans to launch a tour in support of the album.
