It’s YG 4Hunnid.
Just nine months after dropping Stay Dangerous, the Compton rapper returns with his fourth album 4REAL 4REAL. In addition to the singles “Stop Snitchin” and “Go Loko” with Tyga and Jon Z, the 14 tracks include appearances from Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Kamaiyah, Valee, Boogie, Arin Ray, and DaBaby, who guests on the remix to “Stop Snitchin.”
The album was originally set to arrive as a surprise release on April 12, but was delayed following the death of Nipsey Hussle. “When the shit happened with the homie, I’m like, ‘Damn. I can’t put my album out. I can’t be promoting this shit,'” YG told Big Boy on REAL 92.3.
The project, which was recorded prior to Nipsey’s death, closes with the tribute “My Last Words,” taken from YG’s speech at Nipsey’s memorial at Staples Center.
Some of the proceeds will benefit Nipsey’s children, 10-year-old Emani and 2-year-old Kross. “I put that ‘In Loving Memory of Nip’ on the album cover because I’m giving his kids a percentage of every song on the album,” said YG. “By time they get 18, from me, they gon’ have a bag.”
