Following Young Thug and NBA YoungBoy, Yo Gotti was the apparent target of a shooting.
According to WREG Memphis, the Memphis rapper’s tour bus was shot up late Tuesday night (May 14) during a concert stop in Nashville.
Police responded at 11:10 p.m after shots were fired at Yo Gotti’s unoccupied tour bus. Officers checked the vehicle and found no gunshot victims on board. Police said the shooting was apparently targeted vandalism, but the motive is unknown. The case is under investigation.
Yo Gotti was performing at Mercy Lounge in Nashville on his free “Only the Streets Know” fan appreciation tour, which wraps in Houston on Thursday.
Following the shooting, Gotti returned to Instagram, writing, “Nashville = ❤️ NEXT STOP HOUSTON TX!!!!!”
This is the latest incident in a string of hip-hop-related shootings. Earlier this month, Young Thug and NBA YoungBoy were both allegedly targeted during shootings. On Friday, YFN Lucci’s Mercedes G-Wagon was shot up during a drive-by shooting in Atlanta where one person suffered two gunshot wounds.
