Teairra Mari is a wanted woman.
A judge has ordered a bench warrant for the singer’s arrest after she failed to appear at a hearing in her legal battle with 50 Cent. According to The Blast, Mari was ordered to appear in court today, but she was a no-show.
A Los Angeles judge issued a bench warrant in the amount of $5,000. The “Love & Hip Hop” star will be arrested if she comes in contact with law enforcement.
50 Cent was granted an order to examine Teairra’s finances including her income, bank accounts, and property, so that he can collect the $30,618 she owes him in attorney fees.
In January, a Los Angeles judge ordered Mari to cover part of 50’s $161,660.15 legal bill after he prevailed in the revenge porn lawsuit she filed against him. Last month, he served her with legal papers at the airport and documented the process on Instagram.
Teairra fired back at 50 with her diss track “I Ain’t Got It,” on which she says she doesn’t have the money she owes him. In response, 50 claims to have filed a trademark for Mari’s catchphrase and is selling his own merch with her tagline.
In the meantime, 50 continues to publicly demand payment from Teairra. “Look I’m not playing with you, you better get me my money,” he wrote last month.
