YG turned Coachella into Boachella.

During his highly-anticipated set at the festival in Indio, Calif. on Sunday night (April 14), the Compton rapper paid homage to the late Nipsey Hussle and announced a May 3 release date for his new album.

“I got this song called ‘Stop Snitchin’ on my motherfu**in’ new album. It’s coming May 3,” he said before performing the new track as images of “snitches” appeared on screen including 6ix9ine, who copped a plea deal in his federal racketeering case.

“Bitch ni**a, snitch ni**a, ho ni**a,” he rapped to a packed crowd in the Sahara Tent. “You got fear in your heart so you corroborate / I can see how bitch ni**as operate.”

YG had planned to drop the surprise project on the Friday before his Coachella set, but delayed it out of respect for his fallen friend. “I was dropping a Surprise album April 12th,” he previously tweeted. “But man Now that we gotta deal with Big bro goin to heaven I will not drop the album this month.”

He dedicated his entire Coachella set to Nipsey. “We just lost one of our greats, we just lost one of our homies, our big brothers, a motherfu**in’ legend, black motherfu**in’ Jesus,” said YG just days after speaking at Hussle’s memorial at Staples Center. “So I’ma dedicate this whole motherfu**in’ show to my ni**a Nipsey Hussle.”

His Boachella performance was also filled with surprise guests including Big Sean and 2 Chainz, who performed “Big Bank,” while Tyga joined YG on stage for “Taste.”

The 4Hunnid boss also addressed the political climate by bringing out a Donald Trump impersonator, which led to a performance of his anti-Trump anthem “FDT.”
