Wiz Khalifa is taking fans “Behind the Cam.”

The Pittsburgh rapper is set to launch his docuseries, “Wiz Khalifa: Behind the Cam,” on April 17 via Apple Music.

According to Variety, the five-part series will focus on the “most intimate aspects of Wiz’s life,” and feature archival footage from his decade-plus-long career, along with interviews with those closest to him including his mother, manager, and Taylor Gang labelmate Chevy Woods.

The two-minute trailer explores his rise from local rapper to global superstar. A young Wiz is seen at one of his first meet and greets, which was attended by a single person. He also raps for a handful of people at a basketball court before later performing the same song in front of thousands of people. Despite his humble beginnings, Wiz was always confident that he was going to make it.

“He was just born ready to just do this shit,” says Chevy.

All five episodes of “Wiz Khalifa: Behind the Cam” will be available on April 17 on Apple Music, in between Wiz’s performances at Coachella.
