Nipsey Hussle and Meek Mill are bringing the heat this summer.

During a recent interview with Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed at L.A.’s Real 92.3, Nipsey revealed that he and Meek have a joint project in the works.

“We’ve been cutting ideas and just getting in. We got a couple records that’s gonna go off for the summer,” said the All Money In boss, who declined to reveal how many tracks they’ve recorded.

However, he did share that they’re eyeing a “summertime” release. “It’s not hard at all. We just got to lock in and get the records done,” he added.

Meek acknowledged the joint effort, retweeting Billboard’s story and adding a series of eyeball emojis.

Nipsey is also working on a new album of his own, the follow-up to last year’s Grammy-nominated Victory Lap. Last month, he dropped the lead single “Racks in the Middle” featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy.

Additionally, he is featured on an unnamed track off DJ Khaled’s upcoming album Father of Asahd, due in May. “It’s a solo record with somebody doing the hook,” he revealed. “It’s a real record. It’s a real Nipsey Hussle record.”
