Big drip. Mustard unleashes the splashy video for his Migos collaboration “Pure Water.”
In the Colin Tilley-directed clip, the 10 Summers producer turns up with the Atlanta trio at a paintball party on a soundstage. While paint splatters everywhere and dancers slide on the floor like vaseline, the video’s stars remain pristine in all white.
Quavo shows off his grill and black “Pure Water” cape, Offset boards a yellow yacht, and Takeoff posts up with Mustard in front of a fire truck. Mustard’s young son also steals the spotlight with his impressive moves.
As the first single off his upcoming album, “Pure Water” was made with the clubs in mind. “I didn’t want nobody to be able to say it’s not gonna work at radio,” said Mustard. “I wanted to go straight to the club first.”
Earlier this year, the recently-engaged Mustard won his first Grammy for Best R&B Song for Ella Mai’s hit “Boo’d Up,” which he produced. The two are now crafting the follow-up to her self-titled 2018 debut.
