Travis Scott is proving his loyalty to Kylie Jenner by deleting his Instagram.
The Astroworld rapper deactivated his account over the weekend to prove his devotion to his girlfriend after she reportedly accused him of cheating.
Sources tell TMZ that the billionaire beauty mogul found some “suspect messages,” consisting of what she called “overly friendly” DMs between him and several women. She deemed them “evidence” that he had been cheating.
However, Travis says the DMs were nothing more than innocent flirting, and he didn’t actually cheat on her. To prove his commitment to Kylie and their daughter Stormi, he deactivated his Instagram account. Despite being extremely upset when she first discovered the messages last week, the move may have helped saved the couple’s relationship.
As of Tuesday, the “Sicko Mode” MC has reactivated his Instagram account, which has over 15.5 million followers.
During his show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Travis shouted out Kylie as his “wifey.” He is reportedly also working behind-the-scenes to make amends and has been flying back home to L.A. more often in between dates on his tour.
Meanwhile, Kylie has been coping with some retail therapy. She hit up the mall with her girlfriends this week. According to TMZ, “only time will tell if she fully takes him back and can get past this.”
After reports of cheating surfaced last week, Travis canceled his Buffalo show, citing illness. His rep released a statement denying the accusations. “Travis Scott vehemently denies he cheated on Kylie. It is not true. He did not cheat,” said his rep. “He canceled one show tonight because he is under the weather.”
