Drake has more chunes for 2019. After releasing his mixtape So Far Gone to streaming services last week, the 6 God is teasing fans with new music.
The Grammy winner previewed the unreleased track while celebrating a friend’s birthday on Sunday night, reports Hypebeast. Drizzy’s airy vocals can be heard on the melodic snippet, which should please his R&B fans. While it’s only 10 seconds, it could be a taste of what’s to come from Drizzy’s sixth album.
Guests who were at the party took to social media to share what they heard. “They Played Some Unreleased Drake Last Night And Boiiiiiii,” tweeted @DPtheKid along with a series of flame emojis.
Drake had previously announced plans to return to the studio once he wrapped his “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” last year. He is now working on the follow-up to last year’s Scorpion, which spawned the Grammy-winning hit “God’s Plan.”
Next up, he will kick off his “Assassination Vacation Tour” with Tory Lanez, starting March 10 in Manchester.
