Offset has set a new release date for his solo debut.
During Sunday’s Grammys, the Migos rapper posted a trailer for the long-awaited project. The 45-second clip finds him in the studio and performing on stage while his son looks on. It ends with delivery room footage of his wife Cardi B giving birth to their daughter Kulture in the hospital. She screams out in pain while Offset stares blankly at the camera.
The album’s Feb. 22 release date then flashes on screen. According to his tweet, it will also arrive alongside a documentary on the same day.
Offset had previously announced a Dec. 14 release date for the album. “God knows my album will fuck this shit up,” he said at the time. “I’m not playing. I love my fans… My heart and real life situation I haven’t shared.”
He appeared on the red carpet and on stage with Cardi at last night’s Grammys. The couple, who broke up in December, have been “working things out.” Last month, Cardi tweeted about her husband’s album, writing, “Babyfather album too spicy.”
Offset is the last member of Migos to go solo. Quavo dropped his solo debut Quavo Huncho in October, followed by Takeoff’s solo album, The Last Rocket, in November. Migos is also working on Culture III, the third installment in their Culture series.
