After battling Joyner Lucas, Tory Lanez is facing a new opponent: Royce Da 5’9”.
The two ignited a social media war after Royce was asked by a fan if Tory won his rap battle with Lucas.
“No,” said the Detroit MC in response to the tweet. Tory saw the comment and fired back in a since-deleted post: “That’s why u rappidy ass ni**as always had the wrong conception of a W … shows why y’all careers look how they look now.”
After deleting his original comment, Lanez returned to Twitter to attack Royce’s lyrical skills. “Ain’t nobody scared of rolls 57 lyrically,” he continued. “I deleted my comment cuz I’m not gone keep acting like my ni**a Joyner didn’t do his thing . the old ni**a kinda had a point .. what i said came off like some hating shit . People are aloud to think anybody won … simple.”
Nickel-Nine clapped back and threatened to kick his ass. “My ni**a … If you tryna get yo mufhkin ass beat, you doing everything right,” he tweeted. “I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt because you Canadian. Now go play somewhere before I get upset..”
But Tory didn’t let it end there, lashing out at Royce in subsequent tweets. “Easy mr muscle milk …. don’t let ur gym workout and the fumes in the air start confusing your mind,” he wrote. “old ass ni**a talking bout he ‘before i get upset ‘on Twitter . Fuck u finna do ? Fight me through emojis and text .. ni**a SUCK MY DICK #YoungNiggaWORLD.”
In response, Royce warned him not to come at him again. “Somebody better find that lil sucka and take his phone before he gets himself in some trouble… I mean that …”
UPDATE: Just days after igniting a Twitter feud, Tory Lanez and Royce Da 5’9″ have squashed their beef.
Taking to Twitter, Tory said the two spoke on the phone and had a “very productive conversation.” “We good,” he added.
