Cardi B bites back.
Following Nicki Minaj’s comments on Queen Radio earlier today, the “Money” rapper has taken to social media to respond. In a lengthy series of Instagram videos, Cardi fired back at Nicki for claiming that her friend Rah Ali beat her “really bad” at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week.
Cardi denied Nicki’s allegations that there’s footage of the fight. “How you sayin’ that I got ragged by Rah Ali when there’s so many footages of that night, every single angle and where am I getting raged at?” she asked. “Why would I be here sittin’ online, like, ‘Oh yeah, I did this, I did that,’ knowing that the next day there was gonna be so much footages of that same night? And second of all, how you say that I was the wild animal, that I attacked you, that you was mortified, that you was humiliated, playing the victim, but now you the gangsta? You need to pick a side. Do you want to be the victim or do you want to be the gangsta? You lie so much, you can’t even keep up with your fuckin’ lies.”
She went on to address Migos’ now infamous “MotorSport” and claims Nicki changed her verse “two or three times,” turning in her final version the day before the video shoot. Cardi said she wasn’t feeling Nicki’s verse, where she originally rapped, “Cardi the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi,” and then followed it up with “Bitch, you my son, go and sit on the potty.”
“Bitch, you not my coach ’cause you never helped me to get into this fucking career, and I’m nothing like you,” said Cardi, “so I’m definitely not your fucking son. I’m a real ass person, you not, so fuck outta here.”
The night before the video shoot, Cardi claims she tried to call Nicki and even pulled out her phone to show the call log. Cardi told the label that she wouldn’t do the video unless Nicki’s verse was changed, which she did. On her final “MotorSport” verse, Nicki raps, “Quavo the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi.”
Nicki also alleges that 21 Savage did not shoot Farruko, Bad Bunny, and Rvssian’s “Krippy Kush” video because Cardi told him not to, which Cardi denies. Cardi says Nicki “barked” at her managers after G-Eazy’s song “No Limit” became a hit. It was originally offered to Nicki, who passed on it because she “didn’t like” the record. “You barked at your management because they gave me the record and that’s fuckin’ facts,” she said.

Additionally, Nicki said Cardi also stopped 21 Savage from appearing in the video for London On Da Track’s “No Flag,” another claim she denies. “The song wasn’t doing good. It wasn’t doing that much numbers. So why would they waste they time?” said Cardi.
She also responded to claims that her label is using payola to boost her chart numbers. “Since you talking about suing, maybe I should sue you for defamation of character since you wanna claim that I’m using something illegal called payola because you don’t understand why I am so fucking successful,” she said. “Why is it that when people want to listen to me, you cannot believe it? That I gotta be cheating for that.”
Cardi’s phone number was leaked online and Nicki fans have been sending nasty text messages and even death threats to her and her daughter. She posted one disturbing message from someone who said they “ain’t resting till we kill Kulture.”
She called out Nicki for “endorsing that type of nasty ass behavior.” “Bitch, you’re fucking sick in the head,” said Cardi, who also took credit for helping Nicki’s bag by turning down a Diesel campaign.
“That Diesel deal that you got, yeah, that came to me first and I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands,” said Cardi.
She also says she turned down Little Mix’s “Woman Like Me,” which Nicki recently appeared on. “That ‘Woman Like Me’ record, I had to decline it because I’m doing a lot of pop records so I can’t oversaturate myself,” said Cardi. “But that came to me first and then they gave it to you.” She then pulled out her phone and played the demo.
In her final video, she acknowledged that she grew up listening to Nicki and has “respect” for her. “You somebody that I listened to ever since I was in high school. And that’s crazy to me because I show you respect, but the difference between me and a lot of these bitches, I don’t suck your dick. That’s the difference. What you need to do is stop focusing on other people. Focus on yourself and focus on your craft because you’re out here fucking up your legacy, looking like a fucking hater.”
