Tyler, the Creator takes on The Grinch.

The Odd Future frontman teams up with Academy Award-nominated composer Danny Elfman for a re-imagined version of the holiday classic “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” for Illumination’s upcoming animated reboot of The Grinch.

“You’re a bad banana / With a greasy black peel / You’re a vile one / You got termites in your smile,” sings Tyler on his updated version, which can be heard in the film’s trailer.

Tyler has also contributed an original song called “I Am the Grinch” for the soundtrack, which will be released on Nov. 9 via Columbia Records. The film, narrated by Pharrell Williams, opens in theaters the same day.

On Nov. 10-11, Tyler will host his seventh annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival on the Dodger Stadium grounds in Los Angeles, with performances from Kids See Ghosts, Post Malone, SZA, A$AP Rocky, and Jaden Smith.

He also recently signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television to develop scripted and unscripted projects for television and digital properties.
