Tyler, the Creator is expanding his empire. The Odd Future frontman has inked a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television.

The 27-year-old rapper and his producing partner Lionel Boyce will develop scripted and unscripted projects for television and digital properties for Sony under their Bald Face Productions division, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“To be partnering with the creative genius of Tyler, the Creator and Lionel Boyce is a dream come true for us as we’ve long been fans of their work,” said Sony Pictures Television president Jeff Frost. “Tyler’s unconventional ingenuity is unparalleled, and we are excited about the prospect of what we can create together.”

Tyler has previously developed two TV shows for Adult Swim, including “The Jellies!” and “Loiter Squad,” as well as “Nuts + Bolts” for Viceland.

“Sony Pictures Television has been a hub for great television for many decades and we’re excited to be a part of a place where we will have the resources to develop new ideas,” said Boyce, while Tyler added, “Tacos are great with bar-b-que sauce, I’m excited.”

Additionally, Tyler has recorded new songs for Illumination Entertainment’s The Grinch. His remake of the theme song, entitled “I Am the Grinch,” can be heard in the trailer for the animated Christmas film, which opens in theaters Nov. 9.
