The King is back. Fifteen years since the release of his breakout album Trap Muzik, T.I. returns with his 10th studio LP Dime Trap.

After helping take the genre from its local roots to the worldwide stage, the Atlanta veteran showcases trap’s evolution on his latest opus. The King of the South holds court with guests including Young Thug, Jeezy, Teyana Taylor, Anderson .Paak, YFN Lucci, Watch the Duck, and Dave Chappelle, who plays the voice in Tip’s head. The “Family Hustle” star also gets an assist from his son Messiah, who produced “Light Day.”

Throughout the 15 tracks, Tip delves into his troubled past (“Pray for Me”) and marriage (“The Amazing Mr. Fuck Up”), while serving up radio-friendly records like the Thugger-assisted “The Weekend” and “Jefe” featuring Meek Mill.

“I felt like this is a time where the music is dope,” T.I. told Beats 1. “I just felt that I had to lay it out, I had to put my cards face up on the table. I think it’s just important to point out just all the incredible attention to detail that was paid on this project, from artwork to visuals to photo shoots to everything. Every particular category was attended to. So I just hope that everybody else can appreciate it the way that we do.”
