Cardi B may have dropped out of Bruno Mars’ tour, but that doesn’t mean she’s not working.
In between changing diapers, the new mom is readying a new project for the fall, she announced during an Instagram Live session with fans on Thursday (via HipHop-N-More). “I’m gonna have a project coming out in the fall,” said Cardi, who didn’t elaborate if it would be an album, EP, or mixtape.
She also revealed that she shot a video for her Invasion of Privacy track “Ring” with Kehlani when she was about five months pregnant, and plans to drop it sometime in August. “I’ma put it out to hold you guys down,” she told her fans.

Plus, you can expect even more collaborations. “I did features with artists,” she said. “I don’t know when they’re gonna put their music out.”
She admits that motherhood has taken a toll on her body, but she’s not defeated. “My life is not over. I just have to take some time to do certain things,” said Cardi. “My body really can’t take it. I was like, ‘You need to sit down ’cause you’re gonna go cuckoo.'”
She also gushed about motherhood and her newborn daughter Kulture, who was born on July 10. “I really love my lil’ baby, she’s so cute.”
Earlier in the day, the Bronx rapper announced that she would be pulling out of Bruno Mars’ tour. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,” she said. “I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.”
