Despite his ongoing Cash Money legal battle, Lil Wayne keeps grinding. The Young Money chief joins Preme, the artist formerly known as P Reign, for his Cash Money-themed single “Hot Boy.”

Over a thumping instrumental by ProLogic and Joe Hodges, Preme takes a trip down memory lane with his shorty. “I’m just trying to bring your pretty ass back to my place,” he raps. “I remember you way back, back from MySpace.”

Later, he explains the Cash Money connection. “I got the whole city on lock, boy,” he brags. “I should dread my head, the way I’m feeling like a hot boy.”

Weezy acknowledges his past as a member of the Cash Money group. “Was a Hot Boy in my first life, word life / Had to move on like a third strike,” he raps. Later, he reps for Drake by boasting about his “OVO MJs.”

Before teaming with Tunechi, Preme joined PARTYNEXTDOOR in the visual for “Can’t Hang,” which features cameos from Drake, Metro Boomin, Murda Beatz, and more.

Up next, Preme is planning to release his project Light of Day, which is due this spring via BPG/RCA Records.
